Your first Sunday

We’d love to meet you.

Questions about parking, which door to use, children, or worship style are completely normal. You do not have to figure it out alone—we want your first visit to feel comfortable and welcoming.

You are always welcome, with or without the form.

A welcome from Pastor Gary

There is a place for you here.

Pastor Gary’s personal welcome video will appear here when the church provides the approved recording.

What your first Sunday can look like

Three simple steps. No guesswork.

01

Arrive

Park in the church lot along 5th Avenue, then choose the entrance that best fits where you are headed. The guide below will help you find your way.

Parking is along 5th Avenue

02

Worship

Choose the setting that feels most comfortable: relaxed contemporary worship at 9:00 AM or traditional worship and hymns at 11:00 AM.

Come as you are—there is no dress code

03

Be welcomed

If you tell us you are coming, our small welcome team can answer your questions and help your first Sunday feel a little more familiar.

No pressure and no reservation required

Parking and entrances

Know where to go before you leave home.

Park in the church lot along 5th Avenue. The 11th Street entrances take you to the second-floor worship areas; the 6th Avenue entrance opens onto the first floor near the church office and stairs to the second floor.

Choose the right entrance

  • 11th Street: second-floor entrances for McPherson Chapel and the sanctuary.
  • 6th Avenue: first-floor entrance for the church office and stairway to the second floor.

Choose what feels like you

One church family, two worship styles.

Both services share worship, biblical teaching, and community. There is no wrong choice—come as you are and choose the setting where you feel most at ease.

Tell us you’re coming

Let us make Sunday feel familiar.

Share only what you are comfortable sharing. A small church welcome team will use your note to prepare for your visit and follow up only if you ask.

First-time visitor gift

A small welcome gift

Gift details are being confirmed and will be added here before launch.

This is not a reservation. It is simply a way for us to know your name, answer a question, or have someone ready to say hello.

We use this information to prepare for your visit. Choose email only if you agree to receive visit-related and first-visitor follow-up messages; you can unsubscribe at any time. Choosing no contact is always welcome.

Bringing children?

Children are welcome to stay with you in worship. Young children may also use McPherson Chapel on the second floor, where there are toys, room to move, and a giant dry-erase board. Children’s activity tote bags are available for worship, too.

Choose what works for your family: worship together, chapel time, or an activity bag.

Still wondering about something?

Use the note in the visit form to ask about accessibility, children, arrival, or anything that would help you feel more at ease.

Ask with your visit note

Come as you are. No required dress, no church familiarity needed.

At New Brighton Methodist Church, we Gather, Grow, and Go as followers of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are beginning, we would be glad to welcome you.
